Karen-Marie has a gift that very few speakers have. For 90 minutes she completely mesmerized the crowd. There wasn’t a dry eye in the room, and our sides literally ached from laughing so much. But, beneath the surface humour, there is also a very serious, important message which really took the whole experience to another level.

Karen-Marie was able to take everyday episodes to a whole new level, first by setting the scene, and then acting them out and making us all laugh out loud. And, each time, Karen-Marie followed up each story with a small moral or lesson. Now, no one who was there has the slightest doubt that life is more fun if you just remember three little things: Be in the moment. Be daring. Be playful.

Karen-Marie took us by storm. She fully lives up to her own three main bulletpoints: she is absolutely in the moment; she has real guts; and she is playfull. It was so great and wonderful to sit there with the feeling that the speech was not just being “delivered”.

She was really there. She heard us and saw us. She presented ideas, took our comments on board and integrated them into her talk. As well as that, the speech was thought-provoking, inspiring and a real eyeopener in terms of how we treat each other everyday. Suddenly, (almost) everything is permitted. It was really something we could all take in and practice with each other, right here and now.
